For those naive enough to think that voting doesn't matter, be mindful of your own life and aspirations and pick someone knowing that there is always a worse choice. You do this because you don't have any right complaining years down the line when shit hits the fan because there will be a president whether you like it or not.

Except there are only a handful of states where your vote actually does matter due to the system in place. "Every vote matters" is simply not true due to the electoral college. If you're in a state where the race will be close, sure your vote matters. If you're the majority of Americans in resoundingly red/blue states then your vote is essentially garbage if you're voting for the candidate who is not going to hold your state.

Despite being conservative, I would vote Clinton if I was American.

Even though she supports accepting syrian refugees ?

Obviously a popular contest would be best but is simply untre to say that your vote doesn't count because a popular victory is required to win an states electoral points. There is simply no way around that fact.  Furthermore only the GOP in recent memory were able to manipulate the electoral college against the citizens.  In defense of the college... without it, California and Texas could single handedly pick the president.  But none of that matters. All that matters here in reality is that states are won on a popular ballot which in some way protects their sovereignty.

No, I mean that because I worry that Trump will just ignite the world if he has a diplomatic crisis! I'm not saying this because I like Hillary, I'm saying this because she the best of two shittty canidate's.

And as long as immigration is controlled, and the people are skilled and assimilating, I have no problems with immigrants in NA.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Umm... yes. You man not realize this but nearly 100% of Americans are defendant from some for of immigration be it willing or forced. And secondly, most of us -while cautious- aren't heartless.  We actually see humans behind politics and we are naturally empathetic.  There are risks involved and reasonable measures must be made to protect ourselves but we also see no benifit to ourselves in watching others go through turmoil when we are capable of lending a hand to those in need (especially given the billions in aide we give to golks who clearly shouldn't be called allies).  Not everyone feels this way and those deceting have valid arguments that should be voiced.

Lmao, as if your little insignificant vote would actually make a statistical difference, electoral college or otherwise. People should vote so they have permission from nobody to complain about a result they had no significance influence in changing? Get real.

The idea that votes are insignificant have spread to millions of people and suddenly those who haven't been throughly disillusioned have way more influence.  Please snap out of it. In absolute terms every single vote is statistically insignificant.  Should no one vote then?

This is about no one but yourself. Should you vote knowing that your one vote means nothing? Don't see why you'd waste your time. You're not making a difference. You're just partaking in a nonsensical social event for the principal of it. Kim Kardashian tweeting that people should vote for Bernie will have an exponentially greater impact on the elections then your vote ever will.

In fact, Kim K tweeting to vote Bernie and then not voting would have a greater impact on his nomination than her tweeting nothing and then voting Bernie. The only disilusionment is the idea that the individual vote matters.

I'm not an American. I am free of making the choice between a lesser evil.

I am not american, but i would vote for trump if i could

I prefer Bernie, but of those choices, Hillary.
