Everyone is a joke that gets worked up over politics?

Well kiddo when you are a bit older you will realise that politics affect not just you but everyone.

I never said they didn't affect anyone. I pointed out it doesn't matter who wins

Of course it matters who wins.

Look at Obama the biggest joke your country has ever had for a President ever, do you think Putin would have pushed his luck like he has with the likes of Regan, kennedy even Bush? No chance.

Like here now our spineles Prime minister David Cameron has done yet another one of his famous U turns and is going to allow Syrian children in to the UK from Europe, not just that but give each a place in a school worth 1.3 million each a year. If we had Farage that would not happen.

So yes it matter, it matter a lot.

But you said everyone who gets worked up by politics is a joke.

That's a really dumb thing to say.

No, I completely and whole heartedly believe that. It's all a joke to me. And no serious discussion about politics will ever be made with me. So continuing even this conversation is pretty much a dead end. Continue to reply if you like though

Who knows? I don't really care. I don't pay attention to what Obama does and have no interest in what he, and much less his successor, does or did. As for foriegn politics, my opinion isn't much different. No matter who wins they won't be able to make the promises they keep. Trump wont be able to make a wall nor will Hillary do what... whatever Hillary plans. Honestly I have no idea what Hillary has told the public, they never mention her

That's what I meant by it not mattering. The exaggerated things they promise will almost certainly not go into fruition. However, with Trump being an outsider to typical politics what he does or says could be entertaining as president.

I'd prefer Bernie Sanders to either...by a country mile. I'll take Hillary over Trump, mostly because I think a Trump win will validate America's bigotry, racism and general distrust of science and learning. I see a lot of representation of these last four qualities here on VGC a lot...and it makes me sad. Mostly because I don't think you mean it...but that you just like to piss people off. I guess it lets you feel like you have some effect on this world.

Ahhh I see.  Nothing that I said was directed at padib in any way.  I was more or less just speaking my mind in a general sense.

I completely agree that it is rather frustrating that states like Iowa and New Hampshire get to eliminate so many potential candidates.  I am in favor of a bound proportional delegate system in which the candidate that has the most delegates by the end is the nominee of that given party.  This ensures that each state gets to vote.  Poor California

oh ok.

Interesting idea, though I don't know if that would be enough to keep candidates in who did poorly in some states that would do well in others, since it takes a lot of money to run and those that do porly early have a harder time getting donors to keep giving.

One idea that I've hears is to make it more regional, so candidates can focus on one part of the country at a time, another thing I've heard is to make the process shorter so there aren't months between the first and last states voting.

Maybe, I don't know, lol. I think you're kidding yourself if you don't think racism plays a role in politics.

Well it certainly did in the last American ones, we all know the reason Obama was re elected to serve a second term and it sure as hell had nothing to do with his policies that is for sure.

I want my country back that is not racist. I want to be controlled by my own elected Government not unelected people in Brussels. I want us to be able to control our own borders and refuse entry to who we want.

Makes me laugh the Liberals will shout racist for that, but did you know the open door EU policy is stopping people we actually need coming here?

For example a non skilled worker from Poland has more chance of getting in to the UK than a highly skilled Doctor from India. Where is the fairness in that? We already have enough of our own low skilled workers we should not be importing them.

This is just one example why we need change I could go on all day.

You're very angry. I think you need to stop reading UKIP propaganda. It's mostly bullshit scapegoating of the EU for our own politicians incompetence.

Ugh. I will not vote for that lying rat hitlery. She is obama with a pants suit. I work hard for my money and i give enough in taxes. Already 7k this year just from income. we need these monsters gone. I listen to politics daily and I will not argue on here with the ill informed. "Make america great again"
Not my first choice but better than big government.

Holy crap, there is intelligent life on this board. Big government is not the answer and taxing people to death isn't as well. I find it very fusterating that there is a lot of Californians moving from their shit state with high taxes to Texas and still vote the liberals in. They are the reasons why you had to move in the first place.

where's the i am an american but i aint voting for either option?

I probably won't vote at all this year, but if I did I would definitely vote Clinton. I am firmly in the #nevertrump camp. I have never been so appalled by a politician and I actually find it kind of embarrassing that he is a nominee for president...
