Oh look, another Europe hating post from the same user. It's getting boring now...

Another Europe hating post? I have no problem with Europe (if anything, quite the opposite of what you're saying); just with the politicians of Brussels and Berlin (who run this show).

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I'm moving to Europe in a few months, I was in Rotterdam Netherlands a few months ago and I thought I was in the middle east.

As if they could be any worse! So for a crisis Germany created with its "open gate" policy, Turkey will now reap the rewards? Oh god, this is going to bring hell to Europe! You think anti-immigration parties springing up in the continent is just a "little thing", oh we'll see. In other news, forcing countries to take in migrants:  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/03/eu-to-fine-countries-that-refuse-refugee-quota/

Britain, when June 23rd comes around, ditch the sinking ship!

You're talking about immigration when the topic is about refugees...

I find it amazing how this refugee crisis is deemed the responsibility of Western Europe... Meanwhile rich Middle Eastern countries openly take no refugees, Eastern Europe takes no refugees, South Korea, China & Japan (who proudly proclaim themselves a one race nation) take no refugees... With this, there's zero complaint from anybody, just more expectation from Western Europe...

Very strange, very sinister, I hope the UK gets out of Europe to save its future and identity...

Another day of disappointment from you, Barney.

Your disappointment is common-sense to myself. The EU is a failed experiment. I could dare to say its almost as useless as the UN, but that's a stretch.

You must be a bigot for speaking this! The new term is now "economic refugee's". If Europe has given so much, why not the middle east!

The commonly accepted term is "Brexit"

There was a guy who said he felt "calm" when he heard that nationalists had burned down refugee camps in Sweden, and this guy told him something to the effect of "Finally someone I can agree with!" in that topic.

OT: You say forced to take imigrants, while it should say forced to take refugees. That's misleading, as the latter is humanitarian help, not general immigration.

These are economic migrants were talking about here, most of them ain't even war refugees ...

The article refers to them as refugees.
"A refugee, according to the Geneva Convention on Refugees[1][2] is a person who is outside their country of citizenship because they have well-founded grounds for fear of persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, and is unable to obtain sanctuary from their home country or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail themselves of the protection of that country;[1][2] or in the case of not having a nationality and being outside their country of former habitual residence as a result of such event, is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to return to their country of former habitual residence.[1][2] Such a person may be called an "asylum seeker" until considered with the status of "refugee" by the Contracting State[1] where they formally make a claim for sanctuary or right of asylum.[2]"

I don't see anything about economy qualifying them as refugees. So where did you get the info that they are economic migrants?

But only 55% of them are syrian! A 1/4* are from afganistan, and the rest are from Africa! That means 45% don't even have an excuse to leave their countries!

I'd like to read your opinion on two things.

If a country sells weapons into regions of the world where there is war, should said country accept refugees from the regions that suffer from war?

If a country exploits other regions of the world to provide its own people a higher standard of living, should said country be surprised that people from the exploited regions want to migrate to said country?

No. Said countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran who use these weapons to fund terrorist groups in the middle east for a high standard living for themselves should be held responsible. Its not always Europe and NA's job to help everybody!
