I think it worked well for New Super Mario Bros Wii.

I think red is bold, and it really stands out. That's what Nintendo needs right now

I couldn't agree more. I think NX games would look sexy in a case based after HD DVD or the Age of Ultron Blu-Ray case. It would also be consistent with the competition.

That'll blur the lines between the Wii U Mario titles and the NX games, though.... ;)

In all seriousness, I'm just hoping they have physical media period. If they go all digital, I may just turn to retro gaming. If they include a physical option, flash carts would make more sense than discs this gen, storage wise.

Red only makes sense because powder blue is kinda kiddie. The ps3 greatest hits are red too and they look cool.
