I know that gameplay over visuals but for me all these Ratchet and Cland and Jak and Daxter and Nintendo games are cringe worthy. It's like if you had a decent car in some childish car body, it's still a childish car no matter how fast it can go and what functionalities it has.

Because you have that nonsense mentality of cartoon = kids, which is far from true. Many people has that mentality, though, so I'm not sure if I can blame you for that. It's still nonsense. Also, the misconception that a rated E game is for kids. E is for everyone.

Beacuse that mentality Nintendo games are for kids are typical for teens who only play "hardcore" games.

Depends on the game of course, imho there's plenty of Cartoonish titles that aim for a mature audience, just look at Ori and the Blind forest or The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker...

You must have missed so many great games and movies.

Um...maybe you should try some of those games you mentioned because they are games anybody can play and it doesn't matter how old you are because they are fun. I'm 19 and happily playing the new Ratchet and Clank game :)

Because they're fun? You don't have to be macho man all the time. I feel sorry for you that it makes you cringe and you can't enjoy some of the greatest games ever made.

Yes, but you still have a functional car, and it will work as well as any other car. And people can have the tastes they want, so variety is definitively not bad.
