Soooo I took a looksie, and the image on the Gamespot article appears to come directly from the U.S. Xbox page, complete with the modified, '2015-less' slogan. It's actually the big banner at the top, no less. (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/consoles?xr=shellnav) Clicking the 'Learn More' button took me straight to the purchase page, so there doesn't seem to be any *footnote:in2015 addendum, and this was a page that had footnotes to specify bundle deals, terms and conditions, etc.
Fascinating. They've actually dropped the 2015 caveat entirely. o_O COULD some Xbox One exclusive game have found its way to the overall top 10 for this generation, and we just didn't notice somehow? It definitely couldn't have been Halo 5, but maybe the Master Chief Collection snuck up there? Because otherwise this is ballsier than the Destiny perfume ad. o___O
