Forums - Movies & TV - Captain America: Civil War – BIG RANT and many plot spoilers inside (you should save your time and money and not see it now)

Remember the part where Cap agreed to sign but then Tony mentions that she asked Scarlet Witch to stay inside the headquarters for her own safety and he flips out? Makes sense, right?

It's a comic book movie and these are originally intended to be kids characters. Lets just kinda have some context here, there's never going to be an Best Picture favorite Marvel superhero film.

If you want to watch like ... deeper films, maybe superhero movies aren't what you should be fixating on.

With all due respect, there is a difference between lack of depth and sheer stupidity.

Amazing news!

Jesse Eisenberg confirms Lex Luthor will return for Justice League

Ugh, please be joking.  He was the WORST part of a movie that had a lot of very, very bad parts.

yes, actually.  It makes perfect sense, because he knows that Tony is literally keeping her prisoner for her own good, and that flies in the face of the "Freedom for every man, woman, and child" mentality Cap has.

Not true.  By all means, The Dark Knight was good enough that t should have been nominated. It was a compelling gangster movie in and of itself even without batman, and Gangster movies are great.

Well, in a time when movies like "Crash" are not only nominated, but win, placing that kind of thing in the run seems coherent.

Yes, and I'm sure a person like you is just terrible and completely irredeemable because of that one thing you probably did a few years back.  Having a black mark on one's record does NOT make you lose all credibility. Just some.

Even though Tony explained how she doesn't have a visa to be in the US and nationa were wanting to have her prosecuted. Of course, Cap is an idiot who think he and his team are above the law.

You really think that is the only one black mark on the Academy's choice? Man, they gave 11 oscars for Return of the King! I rest my case.
