I feel like the world has redefined racism.

Quite frankly, I have great respect for the Asian community in the US. They are responsible for very little crime relative to their population, they are a hard working group, and I think much of it has to do with great parenting. I think the country would be better if more people had the values of that community. If that makes me a racist, oh well.

From my (very limited) knowledge, a lot of the asian immigrants are those who were pretty well off to begin with, even before they moved. That obviously gives you an advantage.

Either you are trolling or you are an ignorant person. I think you said you are in Europe? So you do not know anything about the racial situation in the U.S. Many Asians are treated like crap just as other minorities are. The difference is that they are are not as many Asians as Blacks and Mexicans and Asians are not seen as a threat because racial profiling views them as docile and weak.

Not all Asians are successful and the one's that are are immigrants who came here on a Visa or have help to succeed from their family back in Asia. Blacks do not have a connection to their ancestor's home country as Asians do because of slavery. Black communities were also destroyed after slavery as well as black businesses by the KKK and other white supremacist groups. Actually do your research before you make anymore ignorant threads.

Blacks and Mexicans are treated worse because ignorant whites such as you fear the growing numbers of that minority group where as Asians are not a big enough group to be perceived as a threat. You are a disgusting person using comments such as "well behaved" as if anyone not white are animals. You claim you are not a bigot, but all of your threads say other wise. Just admit what you are (an ignorant bigot) and keep it real like a man.

Muslims should follow the lead of Asians when most Muslims are probably Asians. The OP is a good start for a successful thread!

Another ignorant comment. There are Asian gangs, but as I said Asians are a small minority and they do commit crimes within their community, but the media does not plaster it all over the TV like other minorities. YOu must be a fool to think Asians never commit crimes. Really. You may not be a racist but you are ignorant.

I have not known as single bad muslim as opposed to many bad Christians. I see muslim with my own eyes out helpiing people in my community. Don't go by what the WHITE media tells you about muslims. Malcolm X was a muslim and did more good for those who needed it than any Christian in this country.

I find it shameful that even the gaming community is not exempt from ignorance of race relations in this world, but seeing as how many racists are on Live and PSN I am not surprised.

Race and culture do not equal the same thing though... It's their culture (I'm generalizing here for the sole sake of brevity, see edit) not their race as to the reason of these stereotypes, so comparing races is pointless not to mention wrong and offensive. And it's this stereotypical thinking that has made it even harder for Asians to be anything but those stereotypes and as a consequence, their problems constantly get swept under the rug because on the surface it may look like they are getting on okay but in reality they're not.

And yeah if you think a certain race should be more like another racial group, that's highly offensive and you'd be a rascist.

Edit: And I'd also like to point out and make it clear that Asia is an incredibly big and diverse land with lots of different cultures that house many different norms and attitudes on differing behaviors and topics. So generalizing the entire Asian race, or any race for that matter, is the complete wrong way to go about things.

Then there is the issue of you referring to minorities. That's a relative terms. In Asia, Asians aren't a minority. Are you referring to Americans of Asian descent? Are you referring to minority ethnic groups in the U.S? 

Well, I got raided once in my life and it was a Muslim but I'm not that kind of guy who says Muslims are worse because of that nor should you act as if Christains are worse just because you experienced them worse where you are. 

how about we treat and judge each other for their own individual merits/characteristics? just a thought...
