IWhat happened to developers being able to fit mountains on a DVD? The Bluray and 50GB, thats what. To much available space has made deelopers lazy. but anyhow...

've found finally found an internet deal that will allow me to go, somewhat, digital in my gaming. My ps4 with its broken lazer, taking hours to install a disk...if at all and Uncharted 4 's file size which would currently cost me 75 euro for the game and then 106 euro for the internet data cost on 3g prepay...plus future updates/patches. So now, instead of buying a new ps4 or waiting for the one...NEO, I've added another bill to the pile of 80 euro a month for 250 gb of data. Its all so damn pricey....fuck..

How pricey is your internet consumption and/or your digital games after the base price, Data cost? Is 80 euro per month for 250gb, justified?

Shameless bump.

Haven't you already done a very similar thread?

Anyways, I couldn't even imagine having a data cap. That would suck so much. It's also pretty much unheard of here in the UK. Only the cheapest/worst of the worst internet has data caps. I think I was with a supplier once where basic internet was free with the phoneline (with data cap) or their real internet (much faster and no datacap) was only £5 a month. So yeah, would have been silly to go with the data cap one there

Although I still don't buy digital. I'm not going to pay an extra £10-£20 for what I consider to be less of a product. Maybe if Sony/MS sorted their digital prices out I would, but as it is physical is just cheaper. Crazily enough even though Steam are much better than those two sometimes it's even cheaper to buy PC games physically rather than digitally.

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

I pay $74 Canadian before tax for 270GB a month.
Just under 52 Euros before tax now the Canadian dollar is down a lot. Price hike announced, coming soon :(

The month is almost up and I have about 35GB left, my kids use most of it streaming video. Downloading Uncharted would be a no go. Plus my HDD is full, re-downloading games would be even worse. It's amazing we once 'survived' on a 60GB limit. (Kids weren't born yet)

I pay $32 USD for unlimted usage with 40Mb/s connection.

Well-technically the cap is 250GB a month but I use far more than that and have never been capped, throtteded or received a letter for abuse of the system.

I've often survived on a 7.5gb limit post mobile boom...no kids though. My sympathies man.

I pay $55 Canadian for speed of 30mbps and 400gb bandwidth.

Do you have a generous friend with fast internet and lots of bandwidth that you can bring your PS4 over to download the entire thing?

45 Euro a month with tv(cable) normally have a data cap of 520 GB and (5 Euro for each extra 100 GB) but I my provider opened my connection for tourist so I have unlimited. My money goes towards new external hard drives =p.

Btw when I joined VGCHARTZ in 07, I had a datalimit of 10 GB and had to pay 5 euro for each extra GB.

Haven't got a data cap (knock on wood). And I've pretty much been all digital this gen. With exception to games that I wanted to play but had some problem with how the games were made or something (looking at you ubisoft) which I waited and got used usually around a year after release.

Oh, I don't think d vs getting lazy has anything to do with the size of games getting big.
