My thoughts exactly on this.

Nobodies wanting some attention, move alone and don't feed them I say.

Actually they are some pretty good developers, If I might say. I do not know why they had to tweet this, but calling TCR nobodies is not the nicest thing, when they brought us games like Dear Esther, Machine for Pigs and EgtR. Just my 2 cents.

Still it's a pretty stupid statement from them, so I'm not surprised people are saying they are nobodies, just for the fact they are attacking a well established and well liked studio. In comparison they are nobodies.

What?

I've heard of Dear Esther but not the other 2, I was thinking they were a youtube channel or so originally, knowing that they are game creators (albeit indie titles) I find it strange that they think a game is sexist for that picture, I mean, I don't find it strange, I find it completely wrong.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I do agree with the fact that the tweet was stupid. CDPR amazing developers, and I do not believe that they are sexist in the slightest way, and they constantly make massive, immersive and character wise complex RPGs.

But even so I do not believe the chinese roomn are nobodies in comparison. TCR made a pretty huge impact on the indie scene with Dear Esther, and actually people coined the term "Walking simulator" after the game was released. Their games win several awards every time they are released, including 3 BAFTA's for their latest game. This is like saying that Tarkovsky is nobody when compared to Nolan, because his movies are less popular.

They will always have a special place in my heart, no matter what one of their sjw PR's posts on twitter

I think Machine For Pigs are the sequel to Amnesia.

It was Amnesia: Machine for Pigs and Everyone gone to Rapture. They are both pretty well liked games in their genre, but they are most deffinatly not for everyone. If you liked Dear Esther, maybe you could give them a try

And they honestly brought it upon themselves for making a pretty serious accusation about the Witcher 3 on twitter (not the best place to express an opinion) without explanation and got the flack they rightly deserve.

They also don't complex personal character relationships in their games or have to portray a giant open world with many different types of people so calling out at another developer for doing something they have never done holds about as much weight as your average gamer.

Maybe Chinese Room should mind its own bussiness?

True. But they do work in completely different genres. In the same way, CDPR never tried to dabble in surrealism and minimalistick approach in exploration. If anything comparing the two teams work is like comparing apples to oranges.

Again, I want to pooint out that their attack on CDPR is stupid, immature and ignorant. But that should not take away from a whole teams merits.

Do not mean to imply that they don;t have their merits but the development of characters in a fully realized medieval world is a far cry from what there known for and tweeting that The Witcher 3 was sexist should not be viewed as one developer telling off another.

I think they should apologize for the tweet though, was not the right way for a company to address this.

Seems to me that they want to stir up some controversy to get attention
