just wait for the new versions to arrive then choose. I have problems on my PS4 freezing recently, I'm able to fix it after removing the HD and putting it back. I'm a bit cautious and seems not the same speed to boot as before.

I've double check the disk space if it is nearing 0, but I still have 300gb free disk space.

Within first month my controller started peeling, while Sony did replace it for free was stuck with a 7.99 shipping fee wich was kinda BS since the first set of controllers did have an issue. Anyway gave shipping bill to ST and they recouped my shipping charge. You can also almost always find a sale on warranty coverage for ST pretty good deal. Got my Astro hradphones, iphone, and PS4 covered on Squaretrade.

Wait for E3 to see what they say about new PS4 NEO, that's what I would do in your situation, but Sony can take their NEO and stick it up their arse cuz it's kinda BS, and I'm a little pissed about it. I bet the org PS4 will drop to $199 also, if Sony is going to be a little smart about this dumb move.

If its the disc laser that doesn't work, you could go digital for your games and not need to buy a new system at all.

Ps4 neo will release somewhere between October 2016 and March 2017... You sound like you want games NOW, so the question is kind of moot... Getting an xb1 or Wii u means you get a lesser console and you must re-buy all the games you already have, if you want to play them. If it was me, chances are that I would want to wait for the neo, at least after e3, even with uncharted 4 pre-ordered, but I am patient and have little time to play games....

I think you should wait for more information about the Neo. Why buy a PS4 now when you can buy a better version of it soon (maybe)?

am I the only one reading this and thinking.... you hit a ps4 with a hammer and it still works? like... it actually plays games from the HDD, what the actual fuck, would have never thought that, unless the hammer was one of those inflatable things, but if it was and that managed to break the PS3/X360 then those are far softer than I figured them to be.

All that said.... based on you hitting consoles with hammers, I would suggest you don't buy any more consoles and just focus on becoming a carpenter!

PS4 now, and PS4 NEO when it comes out; it's not possible to stay without PS4, and it's not possible to miss NEO. Just collect some more money.
