And all three are freaking great games.

Yeah they were. And even when I bought games that were considered below average I had fun with them and thought they were great because I was not as picky or didn't know many stuff about gaming.. Ahh simpler times back then. :P

.

Bought the PS1 day one with ridge racer and jumping flash.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Remember playing Crash Bandicoot 3 the day I got my PlayStation... I was about 4. It's my first memory of Playing a video game though I think I probably played the SNES/N64 round my cousins house before that.

Wipeout on the PS1

Warhawk (PS1), basically because friends bought Ridge Racer, Toshinden, Tekken so we could lend games to each other.

Resident Evil

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

I played Tekken 2 on a friend's PS1. Unlocked every character in a weekend--despite him not owning a memory card. Right after that, I decided to buy my own! Couldn't find one that day so I bought Tomb Raider and Resident Evil before I even had a console.

I was putting that TR disc into my CD player listening to it and imagining how awesome it was going to be for weeks before I actually got my own PS1!  When I did get one, out came with a copy of Toshinden.  That game guy a 98% in PSM magazine about Tekken only got a 91%.  It HAD to be good!!!  After a couple of sessions, I buy the disc in half. Horrible game by 1996 standards.

WipeOut and Destruction Derby.

Hmm, pie.
