The math holds that there is no way in HELL that the majority of folks on this or any other forum are majority Wii U owners.  I just can't belive that.  LOL.

What I mean is that even though there are like...5-6 Xbox One/PS4 owners for every Wii U owner, the percentage of Wii U owners that are going to be the kind of person to spend time on gaming websites is going to be way higher.

Plus, the hardcore Nintendo fans have been making threads about every little piece of NX news or rumour and they all just swarm from one Nintendo thread to another.

Oh. and while I do believe that they are fine to be excited about the NX.... I am sure they would take issue with other folks blowing up the forums nonstop with other topics.  I don't feel like they are more likely to be on forums, but I feel like the really hardcore members are among some of the most mentally unstable fanboys around and lets face it, every group has come nutty fanboys.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo. But another year of NX rumors is more than I can handle.

Sean admitting NMS is perfect for VR has me hoping it will eventually get support.

A shame it's not for PSVR at launch, don't want to get bored by it before it gets VR support. However doesn't it come out before psvr anyway?

the status is quite simple: people should buy the regular version first and if it turns out to be a success (no mans sky and vr) vr support will be patched in later.

That's a very good point. The game is coming several months before PSVR so maybe the developers will start VR work post launch.

From all the videos I have seen, I'm definitely interested in the game. Positive reviews could convince me to buy before any VR announcement.
