Hear me out, I think it's VERY likely that thanks to the fact that Zelda U was simultaneously developed for NX and Wii U the game ON WII U will be better than how it would have been as a Wii U exclusive.

I base this prediction on the fact that since the game is not Wii U exclusive it won't feature major gimmiks as such gimmiks to be in both versions would need the NX controller to be extremely similar to the Gamepad which is popularly considered one of the major factors that caused the Wii U's failure. We've seen proof of this in the gameplay shown at the Game Awards 2014 where the Gamepad was used as a simple map, easily replaceable with an item in the NX version.

I dont think Nintendo would use major gimmick for Zelda U in any case, most likely controls for Wii U version will be similar to those in WW HD and TP HD.

I assume it would have been a better game on NX if it wasn't also coming to Wii U, not the other way around

well the ressources put into the nx version could also be used to make more content for a single wii u version so nope.

I would agree if I knew more about NX. If it has a gimmick, my hopes will be shot.

Not sure... I think they would go for a control scheme like Wind Waker HD or Twilight Princess HD, where everything is optional.

I think Nintendo won't take the Wii U version seriously and call the NX version "the complete experience". Stopping console production well before the NX comes out? Why would someone put a lot of effort in something that they aren't supporting? Nintendo is doing a damn good job with consumer satisfaction with the Wii U....

Was TP GCN better because of the Wii version? Will never know the answer unfortunately :p

A good well planned game doesn't need another version to be better.

When you are a good developer, you have an idea, and to acomplish your objective you don't need a lot of time, even less another version. Once you have it completed, any other version or extra time involved is a waste of time as you could be inmersed in a new complete original game.
