I really want to play this game. Regardless of reviews, I think it's the coolest looking game so far this gen, but I just can't bring myself to spend $60 on a videogame. I even waited until the Witcher 3 was half priced to buy it, and I was hyped as hell for that game.

NES games used to be $40 😂

Really? That was just a little bit before my time. For some reason I thought games had always been $50-60.

$40 in today's currency isn't terribly painful, though. It's just a tad more than I've ever had to spend on a game. It used to be that I'd pay $12, and split the rest of the cost with my siblings, but now that I'm on my own... Ugh. $60! It stings!

Yea and it's went up $20 since then. Not that bad because I'm talking way back in the 80s. I was young at the time and remember those prices. I'm so glad Xbox has the game share shit. One game 2 copies for me and my nephew

The TV thing kills any sense of wanting to play this for me. Like, I seriously don't want to watch it, it looks like something from the Sci Fi channel, but I hate the idea that I would be missing important information. I mean, I read ALL the terminals in Fallout 4. I'm not a TV fan at all, though, so that's a significant negative on a personal level.

I thought M$ scrapped game sharing. Is it like Steam, where only one person can play games from your account at any given time?

In Canada, NES games used to be $99. I paid $120, before taxes, for Phantasy Star 2 on the Genesis. I miss Soul Train, and the SOUL TRAIN DANCERS.

It has a metascore around what Killzone:sf had on the ps4, which is a good game in my opinion, but some areas are lacking, so there is room for improvement.... I assume the same could be said of QB, it's mostly good, but inconsistent..honestly, of the PC version was not such a mess I would probably have given it a chance. If anything, before I tend to like that sort of games. And why doesn't anyone talk about the downgrades graphic wise? I recall this game looking sharp, and being brought up as a. Proof that the xb1 had enough muscle to muster a good/better looking game than any ps4 game, in native 1080p mind you! Now that it's actually out, it looks muddy as hell,  and the lighting just looks  bad on most screenshots! What's going on? And what I have seen of the tvshow is cringe worthy :-

Agree. It's my goty thus far. Excellent story and pacing. Managed to both end the singular story contained in the game yet leave room for a sequel. Well written dialogue, motion capture is superb. Gameplay, specifically gunplay is an absolute blast.

I played it through twice. Was better the second time around. Completed all achievements. Will most certainly get the second game day one. Just left wanting more, like others have said. Which imo is a good thing.

Posting to check later

I just finished it last night on Normal difficulty and about 85% collected. Playing it again on Hard.

I love this game, not basing this off its graphics but its originality, gameplay, Sound and strong story. Its about a fracture in time which could end everything if not fixed. The powers and gun play is nothing more then amazing.

When you look at Metacritic and see a 77, remember that 4 out of 100 reviewers gave this game a bad score, 4 - 4/10 scores butchered this games meta and its clear this game is far from a broken mess. If those reviews werent counted the game could be sitting in the 8s. Im not here to justify the score because i couldnt care less but those bashing it most likely havnt even played it or own a platform to access it.

Its my best game of 2016 so far. I hope they release a sequal. Looking forward to Alan Wake 2 from Remedy aswell.
