Will you remember the PS4 as 3 years and replaced?

Well 3rd party games that utilized the gamepad such as Batman and deus ex people didnt buy, they were two awesome games, ill rock my wiiu from here on out, this industry is on its arse, the purity of this industry has all but gone.

The legacy of the Wii U are the exclusive games (Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, Super Smash Bros...).
If Nintendo ports them on NX there won't be any legacy left on Wii U.

Absolutely shit console with a handful of good games.

Retrospectively, the gamecube didn't have any exclusive Zelda games either. Except four swords.

That is like saying neither did the NES/SNES/N64 ....

OT though, I don't think the Wii-U's issue was lack of 3rd party support, if you look at the consoles first year or two you have Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, DarkSiders2, Tekken Tag 2, Fifa, some huge 3rd party games, all there being backed up by.... a 2d Mario Game and the promise of a Zelda game which wouldn't come for 5 years... a Star Fox game which only just released and is being reviewed as not much more than a HD'd up version of Lylat wars... which was a retelling of the SNES game, Nintendos First party imo is what left the Wii-U down the worst, they just seemed incapable of outputting HD games at any sort of acceptable rate.

This might be the first Console which only has 2 follow ons to Portable Mario games as it's Mario Titles in New Super Mario U (a follow on to the DS game) and Super Mario 3d World (following the 3ds title) There is also Mario Maker, but that's not exactly a standalone game, narrative based game I mean.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

First console in the history of Nintendo to not have an exclusive Zelda

Also proved that even in their worst console generation, they can make a New IP that would sell millions

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Soundwave did a nice job of summarizing. I find the marketing angle interesting. I saw one, ONE ad for this system in it's existence, and it was on an American station. KTLA I believe. It was featured in a Boston Pizza promotion in Canada last Christmas as well, but that's all I saw of it. I saw a PS4 TV spot for MLB: The Show last friggin' night. It's safe to say that the Wii-U and Vita are the most terribly marketed "major" systems ever, with Vita being the worst.

Wind Waker. I mean virtually every Zelda game gets ported and many get "remade" so like 10-20 years later, but obviously is a very different story.

"Retrospectively"

Is there any mainline Zelda title that has only been on one and only one system?  Ignoring the CD-i titles I mean.
