Btw sales speak louder than forum go-ers since you know, the ones buying the game determine how successful and impactful it is.

Point is that Super Mario 3D World is much better received and bringed way more attention to platform than NSMBU.

Sales of some game dont equal impact they have on system. Mario Galaxy is considered for best Wii game and one best games last gen even if New Super Mario Bros. sold much better (but true is that NSMB was bundled while Mario Galaxy wasnt).

Question for you, what do you think will have better impact on NX, to release for instance Super Mario Galaxy 3 at launch or 1st year or to release something similar to NSMBU?

But not significantly so. Irrelevant point anyway, since game quality/minority forum go-ers opinions do not directly correlate with sales for either the software or the hardware. Great/forum loved games can sell like crap while crap/forum hated games can sell amazingly.

Also you're insane if you're trying to tell me Galaxy did more for the Wii than NSMBWii, and if you are atleast provide proof since the sales clearly say otherwise. Actually don't, those games aren't relevant for determing these franchises relevance nowadays. Just explain to me how cold hard sales data doesn't matter at all/less than minority opinions that have no direct correlation to sales.

While we're asking questions instead of answering them, do you think think 3D World would still have sold more systems if it had sold 10 copies while NSMBU sold 10 million? I mean you seem to think software sales have no affect on hardware sales at all aparently. Just wanna know if you truely believe that.

NSMBU did the Wii U absolutely no favors...

I think they should wait at least a year or two before giving us a NSMB or a similar title...

The only launch window games I'll predict right now are Zelda and Pikmin 4, and I suppose they won't take too long to get a 3D Mario ready...

And for the sake of being out there or whatever, I'll predict Wave Race as well...

I feel like nintendo knows they need to be careful. you can t release all of you best franchises in one year, so as much as I would love for there to be zelda, 3d mario, mario kart, pikmin, and splatoon all within a year of launch, I hope they are instead smart and spread around the games

Actually 93 metascore is singnafitly better than 84. And it not only about forums, 3D Mario game brings way more attention to platform than any 2D platformer, but you can keep deny that. It not about fourms only, reality is that 3D Mario World is great game and one of best games on Wii U.

No, sales of games does not equals impact they have on sales of that system, you didn't provide anything to disprove that. Again, you did not prove anything with sales numbers of games, espacial with heavy bundled games. Nintendo Land sold more than Splatoon, 3D Mario World, Mario Maker and Smash Bros 4, buy your pont Nintendo Land had much better impact on console than any of those games beacuse it sold more copies.

neither, it doesnt matter if the launch lineup is Zelda+2D Mario+casual minigame or Zelda+3D Mario+casual minigame, the result will be nearly the same.

Me too, unless Nintendo bring it, new franchises aimed at a mature auidence's have ya Mario games just give me something like Goldeneye Remastered or NX can suck it!
