It's already revolutionary by making a new term for the word delay: Zeldelayed

Change the industry? lol... no it wont. it will barely have an effect on the industry.

I will have a sense of Deja Vu when the NX launches with Zelda and does good numbers, this site will EXPLODE with threads claiming Zelda as the savior of Nintendo but forgetting this:

"Next to other comparable launches – the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 – the Wii U has done better. This is encouraging, as the Wii U is launching into a more challenging market than the PS3 and 360 were back in 2006 and 2007. Ars Technica uses the US sales figures as a comparison, setting 400,000 first-week Wii U systems against 197,000 PS3s and 326,000 Xboxes sold in the first two weeks. In Japan, in the first 3 weeks, digging back through Media Create data, the PS3 only shifted 156,400. Looking at how the PS3 and 360 tracked over the first month of their launches, the Wii U is almost certainly ahead."

I'm sure it will be good and it will hopefully be a 95+ game, but I doubt it will have even close to the impact that Ocarina of Time had on the gaming industry. Having only one game at E3 doesn't really signal the game's importance. It more signals E3's diminishing importance.

that is just nonesense. E3 is bigger and more important than ever. the only one with diminishing importance is Nintendo.

Well I mean it's not just Nintendo who's not going to have a big role at E3.  EA, Activision, and Disney are skipping entirely and in the coming years more and more publishers might think E3 isn't worth it like they have.

EA is having its own Pre-E3 event a day before E3, while still showing its games at E3 during Sony and Microsofts events, and show casing their games on the show floor, EA is basically using the E3 hype to promote their event, they are just doing it a day before so they have the spot lite on their games only during those 24 hours. and you have big publishers like bathesda making E3 events now, and the new PC E3 event.

We have too little gameplay footage to affirm whether it will be good, bad, or otherwise.

If there having an e3 for one game it must be good.

I hope it is actually really good. Zelda is a great franchise.
