NX will launch around the world in March 2017, Nintendo has revealed.

That news comes straight from the Nintendo’s latest financial report. In it, the company states: “For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed ‘NX’ with a brand-new concept. NX will be launched in March 2017 globally.”

Further details about the new system were not revealed. We’ll see if we receive any additional nuggets during the investor’s briefing later today.

I feel like Nintendo seems very confident in the NX, which is a good sign. Was expecting a 2016 launch though.

Funny thing is most poeple in that thread with 2017 meant November 2017 but its still 2017 none the less :D

Interesting. This may not even be a dedicated game console or Nintendo wants their own stage to present it. At least Zelda will get shown though.

I'm actually happy that they chose early 2017 since advertising will probably cost an arm and a leg this holiday season in the US with the presidential elections coming up.  Makes me wonder if this holiday season is just going to be completely bare bones for Nintendo with the NX looming on the horizon.
