Yeah. I've already played it, if that makes you feel even more sad. xP

It doesn't, you preffer Dark Souls over Demon's Souls, you can't appreciate Nioh properly

Hardly comparable, considering this one takes obvious cues from Dark Souls but infuses it with Ninja Gaiden and Onimusha.

I feel the Ni-Oh alpha is much more difficult than the soulsborne games - one of the main reasons might be that you only get 3 elixiers at shrines (and only very few enemies drop some)

Honestly, I think the biggest spike of difficulty comes maneaging your ki/stamina bar. It depletes way too fast and you have to recharge it whenever you can or you risk getting your character tired and ganked upon. That and also the fact that there's no rolling (or I haven't found that option yet).

This game feels like they took a lot of DNAs from the original games to mix into supreme clone game.

It has Dark Souls, Ninja Gaiden, Onimusha, Dynasty Warriors and The Witcher.

I'm playing as the clone of Geralt.

How is it?

Just played a little. It's easy to see the inspiration here: a lot of Dark Souls, a bit of Onimusha, a fair amount of Ninja Gaiden, and even a little Witcher. And it's tough as nails.

Despite it feeling derivative, I see a lot of potential. I LOVE the different stances.

And even Dynasty Warrior, you can make your skill customization combo for light stance.

This game is amazing. The closest game we have to a souls competitor and it feels exactley like playing souls in feudal japan, its devoloped by KTs Team Ninja so no suprise that a japanese devoloper matches the essence of Fromsoftware.

You can get elexiers or any consumable item by selling off armor parts and weapons you dont need at the shrines. They ramdomly give the items

hah, took down the boss in on the ship and now theres even another area open on the map .. and although I found lots of strong gear I'm getting my ass handed to me in the new area .. *sigh*

I'm playing in "action mode", but framerate unfortunately is all over the place, I hope they can improve that alot until release

Perfect timing, I just finished Dark Souls III. Now I'll focus all my atention on Ni-Oh!

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
