I wouldn't call it graphically impressive... But artistically it is so new and fresh as it's based on something so old that it is considered unique today.

I was about to say "Shouldn't you say New Levels since basically all levels are boss battles in this game ?" then I watched the gameplay and heard that now there are side scrolling non-boss battle levels, this game is growing A LOT
