My copy of game still didn't arrived, but from what I read (NeoGaf) player impressions are pretty positive even some players have problem with controls (mostly at beginning).

And we have here @spurgeonryan ranting like this game is worst game that Nintendo is made and calling it dead of Star Fox franchise, but thats nothing new from him.

Star Fox 64 3D is really good. Star Fox Zero is an abomination of slow frame rate, outdated visuals and poor control choices.

I have a really bad feeling that the Nintendo I love has gone senile and the NX will be worse than the Wii U. The only people that will buy the NX are the shrinking Nintendo fan base. The only launch games for these fans will be ports of games THEY ALREADY OWN on the Wii U.

Please E3, prove me wrong.

I'm sure there will be more games on the NX than just Wii U ports.

There is a rumor that a HD Luigi's Mansion game will be coming out. I bought the 3DS specifically to play Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. If this rumor turns out to be true, the NX will be an insta-buy for me.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

Many people get used to weird controls. Some people actually think Kid Icarus Uprising has great controls.

Well we cannot all agree on SS, but most will agree on this travesty sadly. How horrible to send the Wii U off. Destroying Star Fox and tarnishing the Wii U's already poor image forever.

One mediocre game doesnt destroy Star Fox and tarnishing Wii U image forever. You are vastly exaggerated and rant here, I get you dont like game but there is no need for that.

"Anyone else really dislike Star Fox Zero so far?"

I dont know since I didnt get it.
I dont plan on getting it either.
The graphics and controll issues are too big a thing to overlook imo.

I might pick this up eventually if it drops enough in price. It would have to be cheap.

this may as well be Star Fox's Skyward Sword. An absolute train wreck and a slap in the face to Star Fox fans. This project had absolutely no passion put into it.

SS is the best 3D Zelda btw.

Eww, not with the recycled second half.

Anyway I think this what happens when you

1. Force releases due to a lack of software /third party

2. Force gimmicks into a games production instead focusing on design.

It looks pretty fun for me but a shame I'm not seeing any great reviews. Just good, average or bad.

GiantBombs review really struck a chord with me. They said it feels like the perfect sequel.....if it came out for the Gamecube instead of StarFox Adventures.

This just seems very dated, and the levels dont do the 64 origional justice apparently.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The 64 game is not the original.

I merely meant that SF0 is a successor to the 64 game.

But I will entertain your comment. I could have hypothetically meant that being the "origional" meant the game that catapulted the franchise into the spotlight. IMO that was SF 64 and not the SNES one.

Another example is Street Fighter. Nobody really acknowledges the first, but part 2, which made the franchise a household name to gamers everywhere, is considered to many to be their 1st entry in the franchise.

Again, merely a miscommunication.

The original Starfox was pretty well known, it was a big deal at the time and sold 3 million copies.
