The outrage was over KT's decision not to release the game out in the West because of SJWs getting their little sensitive panties in a wad over "objectifying womens", basically, censorship. And no, it has nothing to do with poor sales, either, both the community manager at KT AND the president of Sony have said as much. Hell, these games have traditionally sold more in the US than in Japan, so that's demonstrably false right off the bat. KT's response where they basically said the same thing minus the broken English (and in a more PC manner) in a sad attempt to fan the backlash over their pandering further confirms that that's not the reason it ain't coming here, so spare me.

And you know what? They have every right to be pissed, and don't give me that "oh, it's DOAX, who cares?". The more devs start censoring games because "ZOMG, BEWBS EN BUTTZ!", the more devs will start pandering to these losers in the future, hence, it'll eventually start bleeding its way into games you DO care about. Hell, these Social Justice Whiners already got shots of Tracer's butt censored in OverWatch. Next, they'll start complaining about games being "too gory," and then it'll be video game violence because they're NEVER satisfied, and before long, the "kid-friendly" era of gaming will be out in full swing all so a bunch of crybabies who don't even PLAY games get to not be offended.

The thing that most people forget is that most of the people complaining, never would've bought the game in the first place.  So, what your'e seeing is an effort to destroy the entire fanbase of a game, just cuz some idiots are uncomfortable with the female form (because if the game is changed, it can impact the sales from the people who actually WOULD buy it).

Ironically the same radical feminists that are "triggered" and offended by attractive women wearing swimsuits in games are the same ones that advocate that women should walk around half naked and cry "misogyny" and "patriarchy" when they are "shamed", criticized, or even glanced by anyone for doing so.

It could also have the gay market too. If they incorporate that right. So it might balance out.

Oh, I actually wasn't paying attention to US side of this issue, so I didn't realized.

My game news feed is mostly from Korea and Japan, and although they have no 'SJW outrage', it seems that people there are 'Very dissapointed' by the fact that DOAX3 have significant content cut compared to DOAX2, while offering minimal graphical improvement.

Reason for DOAX3 not coming to US? It probably neither brand image nor sales. So no one really knows why DOAX3 isn't coming here, although I can understand why Vita version wouldn't be coming. Still. I expect this game to arrive around similar time period as PSVR in the west.

KT and the president of Sony have already said why it's not coming here. Even in their "response" where they tried to distance themselves from the community manager's statements, they admitted it outright:  

"We remain focused on delivering the best in fighting entertainment to our fans around the world, while consciously respecting and strategizing to support the different global audiences the Dead or Alive Franchise lends itself to."

Hell, SJWs started attacking Play-Asia for importing DOAX3. In fact, some even threatened to dox them, put them out of business by contacting game companies not to sell their games through them, even get them fired for importing the game FFS! 

But don't take MY word for it. 

I get what you are trying to say, but saying the answer to harrasment is to turn off the PC is a very ignorant argument to make. We are in 2016, where a lot of people make living, pay their bills and take care of their families by having an online persona. Growing a thicker skin or turning off a PC is not an option. Harrastment must stop.
But hypocresy should stop with it as well, and in that point I agree with you OP.
