True. I wonder if it's thanks to the successful collaborations with Destiny and Black Ops 3 or a big truckload of money. Or both.

Destiny and COD are probably doing the business for both of them..... the microtransactions on Destiny are flying. I spent 30 euro in a day for 2 sets of armour, ships and other stuff. COD sells throughout the year too, so they have the big initial sales and then constant streams of income.

Ergh... i haven't been excited for a Spiderman game since the PS1 games. Everything after has been weak.

There's one good thing about this if it's true: If Activision would let Sony use Spider-Man, maybe they'll let them use Crash Bandicoot and Spyro too.

Infamous is cool but we've had 3 quality entries now and series hasn't really gone anywhere. Want them to tackle something new and although I'd prefer a new IP, Spiderman would be pretty cool aswell.

Without bothering to actually check, I'm quite sure the inFamous games have all sold in the millions. I think Second Son was around 2 million, so what does "hasn't really gone anywhere" mean? No agro, just curious.

and with sucker punch the weakest part of the I famous series has been story. With this they have decades worth of material to reference to.

espically if they can get a great Spider-Man writer from the comic like says Brain Michael Bendis to write the story.

This firend of mine had lots of Spiderman games for his PS2 and when we were kids we had a great time playing them. Honestly now I don't know if a Spiderman game can be good/playable...
