They didn't have one for any console slim models in the past or for the likes of the new 3DS,which was more powerful.

No. this whole neo thing is just a mid gen refresh taken to another level. kinda like making a 120GB ps3 and phasing out the 60GB unit. 

When he neo comes, I'm pretty certain it will be the only version of the ps4 Sony makes.

I was assuming this unit will be more expensive than current PS4/ what a "slim" update 4.0 would cost,
and that would lead to lost sales when they would want to be accelerating adoption of their platform.
Especially outside of US/EU market i.e. poorer countries with more cost conscious mass market, that counts.
I guess it's possible it could cost the same as current PS4 taking into account process updates,
although those should also work on 4.0 spec (to help lower the price further).
They probably could go either way honestly, so I guess we'll see

yh, we will.

I just don't see them making two different skus with two different APUs..... I think the PS4k is basically the equivalent of having a PS4 slim. they were going to redesign the console anyways so rather than just go the make it smaller and put in more HDD  they opted to make it smaller and more powerful. because even right now if they wanted to make the Current PS4 smaller by about a quater of its size they could. 

Anyways,I expect the PS4k will come in at $350/$399 and th e price of the base ps4 will drop to $299 (while stock lasts)

I so no reason to have a separate bar. As many others have said, the New Nintendo 3DS does not get its own bar. We also won't see PS4K games in the charts because there are supposed to be no games exclusive for it.



Lifetime Sales Predictions 

Switch: 151 million (was 73, then 96, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 57 million (was 60 million, then 67 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Only one bar with two colors, one color on top of the other. One color for old PS4 and the other for PS4neo. That way its only one bar for PS4 systems but we can see the sales from both.

No!
It is already difficult enough for many people to understand that VGChartz reports "sold trough" and not "shipped". Also Vgchartz has North America (USA + Canada) while NPD has USA only.
If it was reported separately (as in Japan - 3DS, 3DSXL, N3DS, N3DSXL) total chaos would break out and there would be confusion in every sales thread!
