Forums - Gaming Discussion - Batman: Arkham HD Collection Coming to PS4 and Xbox One This Year - Report

I already have them for my PC, and for 5 dollars each (Or less). Why would anyone pay full price for this?

The absence of a PC version makes me think the upgrades wont be all that big. Not on the level of the Metro games, anyway.

I still need to get around to playing these. I got Arkham Knight with my GTX 960, and WB gave me the rest of the series as an apology for their poor handling of the PC port, but there's just so little time! The Witcher 3 has taken me hostage!

I was thinking it was more because WB thinks they have balls to just not care about the bridges they were burning, look at MKX and AK for example, this news looks to fall in line with recent MKX content and news, though you're also right that there would be little to no reason to buy them again if they released for PC but I still see them going with the former. That said there are other devs out there who are releasing remasters for both consoles and PC, WB just happens to be the one of the few out there who isn't for PC.

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

What? The MKX ported was borked, too? I thought Arkham Knight was just a one off.

Upon further inspection, you are right about a surprising nunber of remasters making their way to PC. I guess it's possible WB isnt bothering with a PC remaster because, after the AK debacle, they're looking to "rethink" their relationship with the PC platform. Less titles released technically means less broken promises and disappointed fans.

Considering I have a copy of the dual pack signed by Nolan North, and that this doesn't come with Origins for some reason, I'll pass.

I should get around to beating these games though.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

The MKX port wasn't on the exact same level as AKL but it wasn't a stellar one, they just happened to stop supporting the game entirely since a few months back and then decided to give news that new content, and general patches as well as fixing netcode would be for X1 and PS4 woth no mention of PC and they haven't once addressed as to why either, same with this upcoming idea of thiers.

The way I see it is WB being full of themselves and rather than admitting they fucked up big time and a few times more, they are basically just washing their hands of their mistakes and ignoring fans on the other platform who just want a stable and working game that gets future support, of course any future or current complaints are to be taken as "whining" by some folk or having an actual set of brains from regular folk that I'd assume WB doesn't like dealing with. The more they don't bother with in the future for PC means they will face as big of an uphill battle with PC fans as MS currently faces, it;s honestly not a good way to go about doing good by customers by being worse to them and trying ever so slightly to do good by them and acting as if nothing happened.

I love DC's animated movies a hell of a lot and some of their movies but I absolutely dislike what they've done with their games and general publishing towards PC.

Damn, that blows. Who'd have thought Capcom of all companies would be more fair to their customer base than NetherRealm and WB. Bad enough that they dropped support at all, but the lack of any sort of explanation is a real slap in the face. It's so wierd to see them behaving this way at a time when most devs are at least trying to be more accomodating to the PC audience. And you're right, this will come back to bite them in the end. I'll be keeping an eye on WB Steam sales figures from now on.

would only get this if it includes Arkham Origins as thats the only one i haven't played...
