In terms of handheld, awesome. Simply spectacular. the 3DS lets me play my DS games, along with the 3DS' huge library.

As for consoles, meh. Only got a Wii U cause I had a killer deal(200 bucks). Otherwise, I wasn't really planning on getting a console at all

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Underwhelming in the extreme.

None of the systems feel fresh or impressive, and the software feels like more of the same old stuff we've been playing since 2007. Almost everything about this gen is toothless, stagnant, and boring.

I'm finding more to play early on in the gen than last, probably due in part to the indie focus and PS+.

It's cool.

bet: lost

The Wii U was meh and I feel screwed as most of the good games seem to be ported to NX. Other than Uncharted 4 and maybe Mirrors Edge I haven't seen any game that makes me want to buy a PS4. I never liked XBox and it's a worthless console anyways.

I'm spending and gaming more now than all of 7th gen, no doubt about it in addition to finding myself picking up titles in genres that ive never had an interest in before. Although this could partially be attributed to outside factors and a generally better standard of living.

I love this gen I have mainly been playing on X1 but so far the games have been great imo. KI, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Tomb Raider, Halo, Ori , GWG and soon I'll be over Quantum Break. The Witcher 3 was incredible, Mass Effect is coming and ohh Titanfall 2...

One of my favorite game on PS has released which is Ratchet and it looks stellar. Also FFXV is the first FF I'm interested in since FFVII. More and better indy games really I'm not complaining. More games than I could play.

When the specs came out, I knew it was lackluster. I got my expectations in check.

It's ok I guess.

i still didnt buy a ps4 or one because it seems the same experiences as ps360, but in higher resolution.
Im liking more the indies and plataformers. got also some rpgs on 3ds(and xenoblade X), and that part is doing fine. rayman legends(multiplayer with murphy), rocket league, splatoon, mario maker were great surprises.

Better than last gen for me. As a jrpg gamer I've been waiting years for a spell like this. Last gen sucked imo, when sonys dominating everything is good. Hence why PS1 and PS2 were so awesome.
