We're in a few years into this gen now and I just wanted to know whether you think it's been a good improvement over the last one, a dissapontment, waiting for certain games until you make your decision or planning to get a new console for yourself before deciding. Anything really :P

Ps4, Xbox One, Wiiu, 3ds and Ps Vita are the consoles and handhelds of this gen, just in case you forgot. OUYA too I guess xD

I own a Ps4, Ps Vita and a 3ds.

Personally I've enjoyed this gen a lot, especially with my vita. Played a lot of games I wouldn't have tried otherwise unless it was on the vita like Persona, Nep Nep, Danganronpa, Stein's Gate and a lot more. The 3ds as well has been great for me this gen with the best Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game coming out on it and you can never go wrong with the mainline games as well ;) SMT games,Zelda, Resident Evil Revelations and a few more. As for Ps4, it's been nice playing CoD with friends like always xD, but other than playing with my friends there hasn't been a game that really hooked me, except for InFamous Second Son(Platinumed it in like a week), but there are quite a few games that will undoubtedly change that like FFXV(been waiting 10 years...), KH3(been waiting more or less that long too), The Last Guardian(like I have to say :P ), Uncharted 4(this is gonna be epic!), Persona 5(still waiting on that release date...) and Ratchet & Clank(haven't been able to get it yet :( )

So, you're thoughts?

There has been some great games for sure, but its nothing compared to the 7th gen. I'm not big into indies and the bigger games I want are pretty few and far between. Last gen there was just several great games released every month. Now its more like some great games every year. The single remasters seem to be pretty much over with though, thank god.

It's been ok, nothing special. Gen 7 was definitely better it's first 3 years than Gen 8 has been imo.

Nintendo has managed to pump out some instant favorites like Smash, 3D World and A Link Between Two Worlds. On the Sony front, I'm still waiting on future favorites like Uncharted 4, God of War and most probably Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Signature goes here!

Dissapointing. The lack of ambition this gen for Nintendo has made all of their first party efforts to look bland compared to previous gens. Only Xenoblade X stands out.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Dunno yet, besides DC I can't seem to keep my attention on gen 8 games very long. I'm back to playing Minecraft. Mario maker was a ton of fun for a few months as well as building in Fallout 4. No new gems yet though, good sequels and refinements so far and I'm excited about VR, 6 months to go.

My own opinion of it? Very underwhelming.

There's been nothing that's really drawn me in. No games that have me hooked.

It feels like a slightly prettier 7th gen

better than 7 Gen allready

It's been very weak so far for me. I love my 3DS, but as of right now the Wii U, PS4, and Vita are all pretty huge disappointments to me. Gaming will probably never be as great as it was for me in 5th or 6th gens.
