Back in March 2015 I made a thread asking who would sell more. Halo 5 or Black Ops 3 on the PS4. 

We are all wise after the fact so let me paint the picture.  This is back before the BO3 was even announced and it was still believed that Microsoft had the exclusive marketing deal. But when I was working out the sales in my head I predicted Sony would snag that. 

The poll results were BO3 PS4 146 vs Halo 5 114. So a pretty split pole.  We had many posters comment claiming either game would win.  Many also claimed Bo3 WW but halo 5 in the US.

So in the thread I made the ridiculously bold claim that bo3 ps4 would sell x3 halo 5. See for yourself:

BO3 PS4 - 12m

Halo 5 - 4m

I can add this to my list of great predictions along with the "ps4 outsells Wii U in Japan in 2016".  And remember people called that crazy too.

That's actually a pretty good win right there. I mean, I've personally had doubts in the Halo franchise and its long term success since 343 took over, but even at its worst I didn't expect Halo to drop that far below CoD in pure numbers.

That's actually a pretty excellent prediction.

The ps4 one, not so much. Just putting money on the favourite, really.
