 A duel release is going to quell any potential this has at reaching 10 mil.

Twilight Princess wasn't good though. It looked outdated even at the time, was criticized for still using midi, was criticized for still having no voice acting, and released a month after the Wii version. Trev said the NX version would either come at the same time or after, meaning none of those situations will be true for Zelda U.

So yes, I definitely think it'll do 4m on Wii U. Easily.

I think deppends on NX, but i hope so.

But why would 4 million people buy Zelda U when the NX is coming? Mario Kart 8 only did 1.2 million in its first week but you're expecting 4 million a month or two before the NX comes out? 

Edit: Mario Kart 8 was able to reach 4.77 million units at Dec 31 2014. But keep in mind that it was released in May of that year. It also the highest selling Wii U title. Expecting Zelda U to reach 4 million sales during one quarter while facing Zelda NX is hard to imagine

Because 1/3 of all total Wii U owners aren't going to be early adopters to the NX. Most people who own a Wii U and want Zelda aren't going to get NX at launch, and anyone who doesn't isn't going to not buy Zelda U when it's own on the system they own just to wait until they have am NX. Zelda Wii U is not going to stop selling the second the NX comes out.

It's still hard to imagine Zelda U selling 4 millions units in one quarter when Mario Kart 8 took 2 quarters to reach 4.77 while being bundled (you can look at the source on my previous post since I edited it late). If Zelda Wii U is launched before NX, which I doubt because it would take Zelda NX's thunder, I predict it will gain at most 1.5 - 2 million sales even if its groundbreaking.

Ocarina of Time has, but it'll be the only one. I don't see TPHD selling the 350,000 more it needs to achieve this. It will be close though.

no it hasnt, adding in sales of 10+ year old remasters doesnt make any sense.

Im confused. You don't think that TPHD can sell 350k more copies? It only came out about a month ago so I feel it might be too early to jump to that conclusion.

I don't think it will sell 4m in one quarter. I think it will do 4m lifetime.
