So the doom beta offically started today, I have only been able to play 2 games so far but it's amazing. I found the vortex rifle, rocket, and shotgun to be the best guns (besides the pickup weapon). Just post your screenshots/clips and talk about the DOOM beta here  (I really hope I did the pictures right XD)

Started downloading on PS4 this morning. Probably won't be able to play until this evening, but I'm excited!

I got into the closed Betas when they were on however, I never actually played a game. First Beta I couldn't get in a game at all, wasn't sure if it was working so gave up, second.. I missed the email saying to download it and the code expired...

Classic me.

It's nothing like halo :P it has similarties but I mainly play halo and I can tell you right now it plays wayyy different. 

Vortex Rifle & Super Shotgun are overpowered. xP

I don't know if I'd call them OP, the Vortex rifle you have to charge up at least when you are in scope to get the most damage at least. 

I don't see how you can come to that conclusion, but I'd like to know why you think so. couple of points that put it in the nowhere near halo in my opinion

1. No regen, seriously, Halo is largely defined by the halo hide for 2 second back at full health game play.  No wearing down, no using pickups to turn the tables

2. Melees are terrible,  3 hits from 100hp, 4 or more with armor, Didn't feel like there was any homing either,no 2 quick melees to victory like halo.

3. weapons all have way slower rates of fire than halo, but movement speed is definitely faster.

ANyway I like it alot, makes me interested in buying the full game, but only 9 maps is a downer since the 9 dlc maps will be wastelands , plus , I'm worried they will rebalance it to make no fun to me.  Though I think this is the shooter I've been the best at I've ever played, seriously I'm running like a 3 to 1 kill death ratio after 30 matches
