I can't see shit without my glasses.

So I've been told multiple times by my doctor, that I should get glasses, but I never do, and honestly I can see just fine imo.

I have a terrible eyesight. I'm at -11.25

Last time it was checked it was 20/20. It's seemingly held up well since, though I do occasionally feel as though it might be slipping up ever so slightly. Someone once said if you have good eyesight and put on the glasses of someone with "bad" eyesight, how it looks through their glasses is how it looks for them without their glasses. Anyone know if there is any truth to that?

Moderate myopia. -4 diopters Left eye/ -3.5 diopters Right eye. I don't know why do they call them "moderate", I don't see a shit.

20/20 usually.

I suffer from migraines with aura. During the aura phase I'll either lose my peripheral vision or develop scintillating scotoma.

without my contacts I can still navigate the environment fine, but everything is pretty blurry and reading (book/magazine/tablet) is only possible at fairly close range (arms lengths max)

I'm short sighted in both eyes, but more annoying is the astigmatism as the lenses have to sit at the right angle to give me perfect vision .. usually far and small objects have some double contours

Contact prescription is -3.00

I started at -1.50 in middle school, so its gotten a little worse, but it apparently levels out when you hit ~30
