As far as I'm concerned, my left eye is good. Vision in my right eye blurs when standing a few feet away from what I'm looking at. So I guess my vision is okay. As long as I can see decently through both eyes at the same time, with or without glasses, it's no bother to me. I do make sure to put my glasses on when playing HD video games so the game looks how it should, though.

I'm really excited for the game, I think we could have some real fun on this forum with online competitions.

Uh, wrong thread.

That sucks, how much do your contacts help?

I have perfect vision, I haven't been tested but it seems better than 20/20 when compared to my 20/20 counterparts.

They give me 20/20 vision

Both eyes are -2.25. Hoping to get laser eye surgery this summer.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I had great vision until I was 14, someone hit me with a snowmobile that had no brakes, face impacted the hood and I've worn glasses every since (and had a wrecked knee).

I don't remember any numbers, but I do need glasses when I need to see farther away. Well, I guess I need them mainly on some lectures, but on most lectures, I can see even without glasses (albeit just barely). I'm recommended to wear glasses when driving but I don't feel like I strictly need them and I'm not really required to wear them either. And just for the record, I do wear my glasses quite often when driving, at least when it's longer distance.

About the poll: I'm pretty sure it's fairly common to not be able to see well far away. In fact, common enough to deserve its own option instead of being listed under 'other'. :P

The poll was made in a rush as the person needed me to fill out some paper work and a few vision things before they start my full appointment. So I apologize for that XD

I have astigmatism and myopia, so I can't see very well at a distance. Objects and signs are blurry, specially at noon. However I only wear my glasses while driving.

I also have astigmatism. WHOO!

20/20. Never had eyesight problems

I've had glasses since I was 6. I can see without them, yet the world is too beautiful to watch it as a blur. Now I get older I have to take my glasses off to read small print, yay for aging. I also read books without glasses, more comfortable.

Next to being near sighted I also have a slight cylindrical distortion, sort of fish eye lens effect, wide fov, yet everything looks curved. I only really notice that when I get new glasses, it takes my brain a couple of days to adjust and straighten everything out again. It's amazing how much your mind adjusts the input image to fit reality. Too bad it can't do the csi 'sharpening the picture' by itself.
