I'm bored at a vision center for new contacts and glasses and thought I'd make a thread to pass the time.

For me, I'm legally blind. I can't read past my elbow. Everything beyond that is a mess of colors. It's like looking at a oil painting XD I've been this way for years. But I use contacts a lot. I'm always jealous that people have better vision than me ;~; 

But yeah! Have good vision or bad vison like moi?

That sucks, how much do your contacts help?

I have perfect vision, I haven't been tested but it seems better than 20/20 when compared to my 20/20 counterparts.

Bad, seriously bad. Had a unsuccessful cornea-transplant on my left eye so it is pretty much a blur. As for my right eye, well probably should have some kind of surgery on that but i am afraid that my right eye will become like my left eye

I dont know specifics, but I should be average.

I have bad vision... I'm nearsighted in both of my eyes but my right eye is much more worse off... I don't wear contacts though, just glasses.

My eyesight is 20/20 in my left eye, but I'm fairly nearsighted in the other. For all practical purposes though, I have 20/20 vision. The only times I don't is when I'm winking or wearing an eyepatch. If I ever lose my left eye though... it would be a major inconvenience.

I don't know exactly but I'm pretty much on the cusp of needing glasses for distance viewing. I was told in high school that I would probably need them next time I tried to get my license but I've always managed to squeak by the vision test. Tried on a friend's driving glasses and it was SO MUCH clearer. I should probably go get some. My night vision is terrible.

I'm really excited for the game, I think we could have some real fun on this forum with online competitions.

I don't remember any numbers, but I do need glasses when I need to see farther away. Well, I guess I need them mainly on some lectures, but on most lectures, I can see even without glasses (albeit just barely). I'm recommended to wear glasses when driving but I don't feel like I strictly need them and I'm not really required to wear them either. And just for the record, I do wear my glasses quite often when driving, at least when it's longer distance.

About the poll: I'm pretty sure it's fairly common to not be able to see well far away. In fact, common enough to deserve its own option instead of being listed under 'other'. :P
