I logged in today and discovered a ban fine on my profile. There was no explanation and no PM from the mod who did it. I've PMed two mods to attempt to find out why on earth I was banned but I've created this thread to make a suggestion. It is incredibly rude for a mod to ban someone and not explain why they did it. Rudeness aside, surely the point of a ban is to send a messge that certain behaviour won't be tolerated. If no one knows why a ban took place then how are they supposed to take it on board and change their behaviour? If a mod bans someone then they should send a PM or post on their wall to explain why.
