The tinfoil hatters have a steaming feast of crow after all their nonsensical conspiracy theories about critics being bought. Turns out it's just an awesome movie and the consensus recognizes that. What are the odds?

Well, since the average ratings stayed decent even after the "bought" editors reviewed the film some weeks ago it changed to "the rating doesn't mean anything, look at movie X or Y which are horrible, they have good ratings as well"

Now i remember why i seldom go to the movies these days. Every 2nd movie is about some super hero 😒

It's either that or reboots. At least the marvel movies haven't been done before well except for Spider-Man.

Not really surprised the trailers just looked amazing.

Maybe crow tastes better when it's salty?

Critical consensus puts Iron Man 2 at 20% lower, Thor/2 15/25% lower, all of which with less flattering descriptions under the critical consensus.  So, uh, no, not like them.

Enjoying your salty crow, or polishing your tinfoil hat?

ps: congratulations on playing right into what crissindahouse said a few posts up.  "Well, since the average ratings stayed decent even after the "bought" editors reviewed the film some weeks ago it changed to "the rating doesn't mean anything, look at movie X or Y which are horrible, they have good ratings as well"

Iron Man 2 should really not be a recommendation - no matter how much lower the score is to Civil War.

If you look at the reviews now, it's funny how there's suddenly 4 rotten reviews in the last 20 reviews compared to 1 in the previous 60 reviews.

Sorry a bit slow with the updates. In terms of International BO, at the moment it's looking like being close to AoU in a lot of the markets but I'm tipping this should have better WOM to edge past them in the long run.

For the movie itself, saw it yesterday and loved every moment of it. Loved the introduction of the new characters and the airport fight scene was fantastic. Pacing was good and I enjoyed all the character interactions. So many cool moments. I'd probably give it a 9.5/10. The only bad thing were these annoying kids in the theater. Never ever going to see a family friendly movie in the middle of the afternoon on a weekend again.

PS4/PS3/PC/3DS Owner (Will buy a Switch when mainline Pokemon game is released)

So you're munching on salty crow and polishing your tinfoil hat.  Silly me---here I thought it was one or the other.

Have fun!
