Let's face it, it's really an Averngers break-up before they make-up movie. They probably had some contractual obligation with Chris Evans to make 3 Cap movies so they called this Captain America. But really it should have been 'Avengers: Civil War'

It's called "The First Avenger: Civil War" here in Germany which  has at least Avenger in the name ^^

Well I can imagine in some countries a movie titled "Captain America" would be slightly offputting, which might include Germany(?), so translating the title into the local language does give an opportunity to remove the "America" bit and thus make the title more palatable to the local audience.

As much as I know Germany is the only country which has First Avenger instead of Captain America in the name (and that is not a translation to  our language^^). 

Winter soldier was also called different here. It was called "The Return of the First Avenger".

If I remember correct they did that with Winter Soldier because there is already a movie called similar so that Marvel had to buy the rights for the German market and then they simply called it "Return of the first Avenger". I guess they didn't want to change the complete name for this one so that they still use "First Avenger" instead of "Captain America"

I guess exchange rate is hitting hard or tickets went down in price. Also, weird it got 2 Cs but they still count as fresh on RT. Still 8.1/10 on RT which is less than Skyfall and Star Trek for those who believe in critics.

I went to the midnight screening last night and I was not disappointed at all. It's a very fun movie to watch, action packed and benefits from the long and solid narrative of the MCU.

This is kicking BvS in the nuts for sure.

I don't believe in them, but I'd say that both Skyfall and Star Trek were awesome films XD.

I thought they were bad. How bad? So bad that I didn't finish watching them.

Well, I went to see this yesterday. I was very good, some very good fanboy moments. BP was brilliant, I look forward to the film. It would never follow the comic exactly but that was obvious but it never could there are like 10 of them :P

I'd actually like Marvel films to have less of all characters in them so the individual films more about the character in it, not everyone else.

Is this a spoiler free thread?
