I hope they stay with the 20 year vet Batman and don't try to go back to an origin or in his younger days.
Affleck is perfect for an older version of both Bruce and the Bat as was shown in BvS. I hope they stay on that route because it'll work.

We saw the early Batman stories with Batman Begins and TDK. I'm good for a while ha.

Honestly, I don't think there's really even a way that they could possibly go back to Batman's younger days. Thank god for that.

bet: lost

Hope you're right. Affleck said he didn't want to portray a young 20 something Batman and that's when Snyder said he would be perfect because he wouldn't be. I'm holding out cautious hope though.

I love all 3 of them and IMO hardly any new Batman movie can topped them.

That's what people said about the 89 Batman with Michael Keaton.

IMO its rely hard to top Christopher Nolan movies.

Ben Affleck will direct and star in an upcoming standalone Batman film.

Rumors about a "Batfleck" standalone movie began circulating last July, but the news was officially confirmed by Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara at CinemaCon today. News of the reveal at CinemaCon was first reported by Mashable, and later confirmed for IGN by a Warner Bros. spokesperson.

According to Mashable, Affleck took the stage after Tsujihara's opening words during the Warner Bros. presentation to voice his enthusiasm about the film and future ones, stating, "It's been tremendously exciting for us to be a part of the DC Universe, and we're looking forward to working on Justice League."

Thank God. It might actually be good!

I honestly didn't like BAffleck when he was cast. And didn't like BAffleck when I watched the movie.
I know im the minority here, but the way I see it, if Batman works in the movie is because of how the character is written. It's a great character. I can't say it's a great perfomance. I didn't feel like BAffleck (or anyone in that film) was doing a great acting job.

That's a recent DC superhero movie I might see.
