What laws did they pass that were discriminatory against Christians?

Don't blame gay rights activists for what is apparentley Christians inability, or unwillingness to stand up for one another.

Civil rights laws in Oregon allow gays to sue Christian practioneers for astronomical sums if they decline to cater their business to events such as weddings. This is independent of any market analysis which would be a more rational middle-ground approach. It's an agenda-setting law; biased against religion.

The ironic thing is that the tolerance movement and the gay rights movement are self-serving. Just like the NAACP and many feminists lobbies. You advocate the rights of some, at the expense of others.

If you are a business that is open to the public, then you should serve the public.  Using your religion to discriminate against certain individuals is despicable.  Sorry, but it's not a right to deny someone service because of your religion.  Comparing the gay rights movement to this fraudulent religious freedom movement is completely intellectually dishonest.

This has nothing to do with Marxist values, nor it is a subversive stratagem to force tolerance. This is fighting againt an injustice.

You seem to have no idea what federalism is and how democracy works. These controversial laws have been enacted because the majority of people have voted for a legislative body that will represent them. Fighting them with various interstate bans and sanctions is to directly contradict the will of the people. Is that not a textbook definition of totalitarianism?

If gay people don't like a certain law or state, they can always move to California and Oregon as prominent examples of gay safehavens. To where can Christians move if they wish to practice use their religion to discriminate? According to you activists, soon nowhere in the country.

Fixed it for you.  The "woah is me I'm a persecuted Christian because I can't force my religion on others" is beyond tired.  Fortunately, young people (in the US anyways), are less religious and more tolerant.

gayrights movement is beyond outrageous. This violates the spirit of federalism and undermines the entire concept of democracy.

Nothing but a subversive stratagem to force tolerance and Marxist values.

Aside from what everyone else is jumping on you about, I'm really curious to know how you connect the issue of which bathroom transgender people get to use to Marxism.  Please enlighten me.

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

This is funny.

That law has cost the state millions in new business and hundreds if not thousands of jobs. It's so odd that a few legislators are so worried about trans people using a bathroom.

I'm glad to see people standing up to this kind of discrimination and saying 'NO MORE.'

Tell me a funny joke!

I really don't see what's wrong with telling a person who is born a certain gender to use the bathroom that corresponds. Really there is nothing discriminating about it. That's like saying a regular man should be able to use the women's bathroom because it is discrimination to not allow him to do so or saying not allowing women to play in the NBA and NFL is discrimination lol. I am so sick of all this LGBT movement. It's like the rest of us do not have any rights anymore because they want to push their agenda. They are becoming worse than Christians and I agree with them being able to get married but use the bathroom that corresponds with your gender unless you have a sex change. This whole thing is ridiculous and there are more important issues such as police brutality, homeless people, cancer and still racial discrimination that actually hurts people. You can't use the bathroom that you feel you should be able to use ...BIG freakin boo hoo.

What about the citizens that are uncomfortable with it? Things have been this way since bathrooms were invented and should stay that way. Women are uncomfortable with men no matter if they are trans entering their private areas wether it be the bathroom or the locker room at the gym. You also have children and I know people who would be uncomfortable with someone who was born a man being in the bathroom with their daughters. They have the right to not want that and those are the people who voted. Why can't the LGBT community just respect other people's beliefs and lifestyle? They always shoving their lifestyle in our faces and it has gone too far.

You can't completely advance gay rights while simultaneously preserving the inveterate practices and beliefs of various Christian groups. They have an inverse-relationship. Considering that less than 4 percent of the entire US population is affected by this law, I'd say it's fair and reasonable to side with religious freedom. There are more Christian practioneers in the the US than there are gays and lesbians. The greater good determines the winner here.

How is it discrimminatory? Now government officials are finally allowed to object to an act they consider incongruent with their long-held beliefs and values. It's a major victory for religious freedom, something on which the US was principally founded. This law does not prohibit gays from marrying. It's just they can't force people to violate their spiritual beliefs anymore.

I take it you never heard of a thing called the Constitution or the Supreme Court?

It is long held US Supreme Court precedent to protect the rights of the minority from the majority. Religious freedom is usurped by that. Any intro level government class at a high school/community college/university will teach you this.

Sir, I have a law degree. Supreme Court can't create law, that's part of the seperation of powers. That's exactly what they did when they announced that all gays and lesbians have a legal right to marry. A blatant abuse of judicial power, and pandering to popular opinion.

In fact, I'd make the argument that the gay rights movement and its present "accomplishments", are actually illegal from an orginalist point of view.

Corporations lobbying to have laws changed isn't a new thing.

Well, then you get this person using the bathroom with your daughters.

Please, hetro and breeders are often shoving their lifestyles in peoples faces.  You might want to take that chip off your shoulder and install it for some extra RAM.  Extra RAM is good and helps you brows the web and learn about the world quicker.
