Jaime and Cersei's relationship, different. Even the manner of how Jon got to his end point was substantially different.

you forgot Sams trip to old town, one of the moat drastic changes.

More like his trip to Braavos on the way to Oldtown, which actually sets up a far more compelling set of events leading to Arya ...spoiler? I can't rmember where we ended with Arya in the TV show... than how it plays out in the show. Oh and the poisoning of the oysters, such an amateur method of assassination compared to what she does in the book. But I was half expecting the entire Oldtown plotline to be cut. It adds a whole new cast of characters and a new court of intrigue that the show simply can't accomodate. I wouldn;t be surprised if GRRM is actually having a hard time weaving the Oldtown plot into the wider story himself. I'm really excited to follow Sam's path in Oldtown, but I suspect GRRM is perhaps regretting introducing the citadel this late in the piece. But also having it cut completely from the show is a big spoiler in itself, because it tells us that ultimately the Oldtown plotline has negligible impact on the ultimate conclusion to the story.
Oh, and of course Mance Rayder's path is way different and cut horribly short.
Things actually started to go wonky for me when Robb got the hots for some foreign girl instead of falling for a the daughter of a Lannister ally. I do hope there's a pay off with it seeming like Lady Stoneheart won't be putting in an appearance, and perhaps instead her path of vengeance is trodden by Talisa's family seeking revenge for her murder. She is from one of the ruling families of Volantis after all, and even if she renounced her slaver homeland, she stayed in contact with her family and they will be none too pleased at her being murdered horribly. But I suspect the show won't even bother with that. Indeed it seems possible that other than the immediate aftermath the red wedding will be largely forgotten about, and no one will do anything to try to right those wrongs.
