I came here to say exactly this. Motorstorm has got to be the most satisfying racing experience I've had since playing Mario Kart Double Dash with my siblings back in the day. I'd kill to see a proper successor on PC.

That's certainly surprising, given the struggles Codemasters has had over the last several years.  They tried to be a high level publisher and it failed.  Good to see they found enough financial stability to aim for growth once more.  I hope it works out.

You have a source for that?  Because the article in the OP suggests that some members turned down positions with Sony in order to join Codemasters.

That they were keeping the more talented devs and letting go (firing) the ones they did not want. It's literally in their press release. No one turned down lucrative positions at Sony to go work for a indie devhouse.
