Unpopular Opinion incoming:

1- Curse of Darkness
2- Symphony of the Night
3- Lament of Innocence.

Why unpopular?

Because I think nobody cares about Curse of Darkness and I rated its OST pretty high (and I think it's an underrated game overall).

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Maybe it runs on Dolphin. Just wish I could find the game and buy it though.

No i mean its avaible for PSP in a 3D remaster, even digital which also compatible with the vita

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/castlevania-the-dracula-x-chronicles/cid=EP0101-ULES00841_00-GPCCASTLEV000001

it has the original 2D rondo of blood and Symphony of the Night as unlockables

Cool, I didn't know that!

So, here is my top five. Remember, music elegancy rather than quality is what counts here.

1. Castlevania IV

2. Symphony of the Night

Just wanted to say Kudos for putting Super Castlevanie IV as no1! I agree the soundtrack on that game is stunning! First truly orchestral game OST IMO.

Other game I really love for music in the CastleVania series above what you've listed, would be the PC-Engine SuperCD version of Rondo of Blood.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

1. Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
2. Castlevania: SotN
3. Castlevania Portrait of Ruin
4. Super Castlevania IV
5. Castlevania II

SOTN, LAMENT OF INNOCENCE, IV. In that exact order. As for gameplay 1 doesn't tie SOTN's shoelaces

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

Thanks! And sorry for taking so long to reply, since I'm an old fella and have to work a lot lol. Nice to find people who agree with me on this. There are not many around.

As for first properly orchestrated game, I believe Actraiser was released earlier. Man, that was some time to be alive!

Last but not least, I really need to find me some way to play Rondo.

You mean the original Castlevania?

Super Castlevania IV was a launch title at least in Europe I think. But yes, act raiser was also amazing! I really lived the town building sections.

As for rondo of blood. If you want to go down the legal route, probably the psp remaster is the best way.
