Playing basketball and watching everything superhero related (movies, t.v. shows, animated series, etc.) are my favorite hobbies outside of gaming.

Writing and reading mostly, the two are closely tied, of course. I have about 80 pages on my new project, with another 200 pages or so of notes and spine for the setting, characters etc.
Slow going but great fun!

In terms of activities, cycling and Kayaking. We got a nice river only 3 mins walk from where I live. They are relatively cheap hobbies too.

As far as nerding out goes, I have tried to get into the whole steelbook / imported blurays, buts its too expensive for me, your looking at £30 + sometimes for just ONE movie. I do own a couple of sets that I like. Black Rain on steelbook for example is the most I have ever spent on a single movie (£48). Its looks sick though.

I would like to collect art books as well properly. I only have The Alien Archive, Analysis of Ghost In the Shell and Yoshitoshi Abe Lain Illustrations. Again, some of these are too pricey. Would love to collect more though.

I'm also working on a home cinema, again, too costly and time consuming. The image quality is great (see pic), but the set up is not professional at all. Need to build a stage, make the ceilings darker and work on a electrinic railing system for a more inviting look.

I enjoy skateboarding, basketball, music, magic the gathering, deck building games, reading comics/graphic novels, building legos. Last summer I started listening to some jams and go biking in the middle of the night, I can't wait to do that again once it's warmer. Oh and I collect statues and figures mostly from star wars, aliens, predator, plus the nemesis from my avatar.

I draw a lot. Or paint with watercolours. I also build with electronics every now and then. Sometimed I build with electronics. Currently I'm trying to build a vacuum tube amplifier.

Trial-bike, bmx, mountain-hiking, camping, basketball etc etc.

Rock climbing, used to snowboard but it was just to expensive for me to keep it up. I also have a Nikon d3100 dlrs camera that I like using for photography. I won a £500 telescope aswell as I have a fascination with the universe.

im a huge fan of combat sports, i dont compete anymore but from the time i was 6 i have trained in kung-fu, boxing, kickboxing, mauy thai, folkstyle/freestyle/greco-roman wresting, jiu-jitsu, judo & MMA.
