I want to be honest, this is a bad move from Nintendo to all the people who bought a Wii U day one.
I really feel sorry for them, they bought a Wii U to play all the Nintendo games but the support dropped really fast from Nintendo. And now after only 3 years there will be a new Nintendo console which will get most of the Wii U games ported. :/

Why porting some games from dying platform to new platform is bad move!? That doesn't change anything for Wii U owners. Buy that logic you can say same thing for Sony, its bad move from Sony for PS3 owners beacuse they ported PS3 games to PS4.

Nintendo giving Wii U support of 4 years, that's pretty good support for sucha failed with sucha terrible sales of console. People buyed Wii U to play Nintendo games and they played Nintendo games on Wii U, fact that some Wii U games will be ported to NX doesn't change anything for those people.

NX coming 4 years after Wii U not 3, and 4 games are not most of Wii U games.

I already own 2 consoles and a 3DS, Im not spending another penny on hardware this gen. What with NX replacing Wii U after only a few years, New 3DS, PS4.5, VR and a possible Xbox one revision. I dont care if NX is the second coming of christ, its becoming a very expensive hobby. I will instead play the best Wii U has to offer, try out the cream of Wii U indie titles and play through Wii, DS, GBA, N64,NES and SNES games I missed. PS4 will see me through the rest of the gen and I will see what the big 3 offer in a few years.

Outside of Zelda only other games I can see getting a NX version are Super Mario Maker, Smash and Paper Mario. They won't port MK because it negates a new installment.

If any game should be remastered it shouldn't be a Wii U one but a game like Melee on GC with a decent functioning online.

i could see Tropical Freeze or Xenoblade X getting ported. DK usually sells in the multi-millions so TF certainly underperformed and i assume XBX had a pretty large budget and i wouldnt be surprised if it didnt make a profit on Wii U.

Wow captain obvious of course Nintendo will have to port old games to cover holes due to having few 1st party studios and lackluster 3rd party support. This is not a rumor just another educated guess from a nobody.

That sucks. I know they have to get the $$$ they spent on games back... But its such a low blow for those who purchased the original games. Others do it all the time, and I don't think its right unless the games are old with tons of new content.

At least others usually charge 30-40 for bonus editions most of the time. Knowing Nintendo, they'll charge $60 for prettier versions with not much improvements.
