I have never associated TLoZ with romance and I do not want more of it.

Yeah, I dont care if I play as male or female Link but they should focus on Adventurig, Discovery and fast paced action

(I feel it was a long time, since then I changed job, got into Monter Hunter, completed 100% Xenoblade X and beaten lots of games. I never posted that much but I always followed some threads and participated in the anual top 50 games. Maybe I'd give a shot again this year)

Totally disagree, I love relationship between Link and Zelda in SS, it gave Link whole new dimension, it give him more personality and actual feelings. I hope we will have something similar in Zelda U too.

Ilia, man I remember playing through the first time hoping for some romance between Link and her. They definitely had some cute moments in the game.

I'm torn on that. On the one hand I'd really like to see Nintendo takle a same sex romance in a way where it doesn't really matter that it's same sex.
On the other I also really like storys that are just about awesome friendship, and that goes for Male/male, male/female, female/female friendships in equal regards.
In any case the scenario I'd like most is if you, reagardless of your player characters gender can play it the way you like. There could be an evolving romance with her, or just a really close bond, depending on how you play the game instead of it being tied to the gender options.

The one thig I wouldn't like is if maleLink=obvous romance, FemaleLink=girlpower. I think both should have equal possibilities of evolving relationships. And not just with Zelda either btw. but also with the side characters. I'd like to see more of them.

this haha, Link and Zelda are supposedly to have some sort of implied love interest thing going on but you almost see ZERO hints of it in any of the games. Its like supposed to be 'person saves princess, they must be in love!'.

So I would doubt you're going to see much in the new game regardless of sex. I mean you don't really ever get to see Link and Zelda talking personally anyway.... its always something about the triforce or you never see her since he's literally trying to save her constantly 

There better be one! That would be hot.

Maybe wait until we see some actual romantic aspect between male Link and Zelda...?
