Ask England what happened to their manifest destiny. Its funny because empires fall and rise and fall and rise constantly and everyone but the people of these empires don't see it coming. I am in no way jealous of a piece of land as thats what a country is and I am in no way jealous or envious of CIA or the USA government who has had idiots as leaders sometimes like bush and might have one in trump. As a matter of fact the private sector has made america what it is not the military you are so proud of whose veterans you leave homeless and throw aside. Why would I be jealous of a state that sponsors terrorism and causes wars and is a war profiteer who spreads lies about my Asian neighbors in the middle east. The only thing I might be jealous of is that on that piece of land there are parts of it which house some of the top universities of the world which are private. So you new worlders can take your patriotism and swallow it whole and then barf it out or excrete it I don't care just don't spew that dirty misguided patriotism on my relatively open minded suite.

You are jealous because your country isn't as rich and strong as the United States. We have the money and the power, and that's all that matters in this world. Stop crying!

Hahahahahahaha.

See I am laughing not crying because I'm not into this stupid stuff. I know you are trolling and and anonymous dude can't do shit to me so come to Quetta, Pakistan and I'll meet you and then we'll talk.

Easy now big guy XD

Overall USA is rich compared to countries with smaller populations. E.g. 5.7 mill people (Denmark) vs. 322.4 mill people (USA).

It's a bit different when we look at GDP per capita. List is from The World Bank and numbers are from 2014.

1 Luxembourg 116,664.3
2 Norway 97,307.4
3 Qatar 96,732.4
4 Macao SAR, China 96,038.1

6 Australia 61,925.5
7 Denmark 60,707.2

What's the point in talking overall wealth? That doesn't always say much about the circumstances for the individual citizen.

Due to their huge populations China and India are projected to overtake the USA in overall wealth within the next 10 and 50 years, respectively. Will you be praising the overall wealth of those countries as well when that day arrives?

Additionally, Indonesia is projected to overtake Japan by 2050, again because of the huge Indonesian population.

Exactly. But this guy thinks his country is holy. Hahaha His country is just that a country. Sure it annoys the hell out of the world but its a country like the hundreds around the world. But many in America can't accept the truth and think USA is something special. It is most certainly not. The only thing special is the propaganda the people of that nation can swallow. It is not the greatest country in the history of the world because there is no greatest country. It is just a country and they have to accept that. Oh and the purchasing power of the Chinese is now higher than USA. One day it will be more rich than the USA. One day no one will even remember USA or any of today's country. They'll be like 'oh I read about it in the history book. Can you believe the people there thought it was something special.' And that's the harsh truth 'patriots' have to accept but can't.

I meant GDP ingeneral, so basically the economy and in that aspect the US is the undisputed king with currently 17,5 trillion and china at 11 trillion and india is even below 3 trillion i think and all these small nothern european countries are not even in the top ten. What use it has to talk about you say? I don't know just take a look around which country has the most companies internationally, which country's culture is every country adapting to? Economic strenght these days is more important is more important than millitary strenght but none the less, the US has both and i am proud of it!

Good for you. You're perfectly entitled to be proud of that :)

I'm proud of the general living standards in Denmark (and the other Scandinavian countries) and our general high happiness (no one is left behind).

Additionally, I'm proud of how many refugees we've helped in spite of the size of our country being less than 43,000 km2.

No. Country Natives per refugee

21  Poland 2420
22  Iceland 3070
23  Lithuania 3175

In my city alone there are millions of refugees and through drug smuggling they are richer than all the natives. They are also trying to become citizens and they are 10 times or more than the local population cause they give birth to 10 kids and have converted a place that used to be called little Paris for its beauty to a garbage dump. It all started in 1979 when our foolish dictator let them in and started a war with Russia which it won but the USA forgot about it pretty quickly and our politicians and military are still USA's bitch. This gave rise to terrorism because USA trained afghans to fight Russia and after the war Russians and Americans left toys for the afghans to play around with. The Afghans still love Kalashnikov. And they killed thousands of people of our city our province and our country. But the country itself is screwed up and kills the people of our province and steals our resourses without helping the locals. So I have a deep rooted anger towards the goofballs that started this madness ruined my city and province and our still doing the same to nations around the world with their state sponsored terrorism and their so called war on terror which is actually a war for profit.

Is that refugees in general or specifically the middle eastern ones? If it's the middle eastern ones then it seems kinda strange seeing countries like Australia there. They flee in to Europe and then Europe are like 'hey, we'll just pop you on this plane and send you to the other side of the world '

Refugees in general.

"A person who has fled his or her own country of nationality or habitual residence, and cannot return due to fear of persecution on account of his or her race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion, and is unable or unwilling to avail themself of the protection of that country, or to return there, for fear of persecution."

Our country doesn't really look like that mostly.

People here think they're going to "nature" for some leisure time, but in reality they aren't really because we barely have any in our country; we made almost every square millimeter of it ourselves.

Our Queen is from Argentina, which means our future Queen is by law a "non-western foreigner".

To keep with the tradition set by Qwark, we always lose everything. We also lost a singing contest to a woman with a beard.

For anyone that doesn't know, I'm talking about The Netherlands, and why give only one random fact when you can give four!

Well, personally I hope that the USA won't be forgotten because in spite of their actions sometimes creating more chaos in the world than harmony, I know that the majority of the American people are good and honest. I travel a lot and I always get along with Americans. They genuinely seem to care about things.

I do agree with you in two things though.

1: There is no such thing as a greatest country in the world. Naturally every country make mistakes and the USA is not the country with the least amount of mistakes on its plate. What is "greatest" even based on? Rich? Happy? Militant? Anti-militant? Orderly? Free?

2: Western society (myself included) does indeed suffer from heavy propaganda as well as almost any other country in the world. That's why it's crucial to limit censorship so that the opportunity of the individual to seek "the truth" (whatever that is) is as good as possible. I understand your frustrations with Western countries acting superior and saying things like "God bless ..." while in the meantime being responsible for many of the problems in the world (maybe also in yours but I don't know enough about that).

Denmark in a nutshell XD

The last places where nature still dominates, politicians will gladly approve the construction of a highway or a bridge in order to make travel time 8 minutes faster. And yet they struggle to figure out why we're the 5th worst country in Europe regarding to tourism.

We're the happiest people in the world but that's certainly not because of our nature which is boring. Our highest point is 183 m (600 feet)  -____-

Our highest point is outside of Europe . But even disregarding that one, damn 183 meters is even lower than our ~300 meters. Lower than some of the chimneys of the refineries in the harbors here!

I've been to Denmark once for a two week holiday about a decade ago, and while it was pretty flat, I don't remember it striking me as being that flat. I do remember thinking it was pretty though, and it had the widest beach I've ever seen (Rømø). And the coolest bridge.

Although, going back to highest points, if I'd cheat and we would exclude the southern part of Limburg (I mean, they're hardly Dutchmen anyway (harharhar >:) )), no place would even get to a hundred lol.
