Forums - Sales Discussion - Metascore disappointments sales battle The Order:1886 vs. Quantum Break (Xb one)

Will Quantum Break outsell (lifetime on Xbox One) The Order: 1886?

Yes 154 36.58%

No 167 39.67%

Too close to call 54 12.83%

See results 46 10.93%

Total:421

Something tells me that word of mouth will help quantom break, while it only ever hurt the order. Will it help it outsell the order though? Im not sure, although it probably does deserve too.

Remedy packs punch. And QB has much wider appeal than sunset. People love 3rd person story driven games. The order story was bad, while the QB is moderately good.

I expect QB to sells 50% more than The order lifetime on Xbone.

i enjoyed the story of The Order, probably one of the only good things about it. That and its characters

The Order is overtracked by about 200k in the US, and probably another 200k in the rest of the world.

Quantum Break! (Metascore dissapointment? puh)

how do you know? It definitely sold alot, I've never seen more copies of a single game in the pre owned section lol

I have to ask: considering Quantum Break is as short as The Order, where are all the articles about this? It just goes to show how the media either get behind a title or not and the reason I take absolutely no notice of them, and neither should you.

If people would play Quantum Break they would stop with The Order comparisons I think. I haven't played TO and I'm not suggesting it's a bad game but QB..forget about it. The game I a masterpiece and will most likely be loved by people experiencing it. Not sure if it'll help sales though.

I have the feeling that QB is going to sell very fine, and will have legs.

Im at 60% after six hours, which is already longer than the order. Granted the TV show takes up some of that time. But yes the media will push the hot topics for clicks you're not wrong.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with shorter games, It's just striking that the reviews docked it points for being short, there were dozens and dozens of articles and you couldn't go in a single The Order thread without it being full of 'games too short' comments. The Order was destroyed by the media but clearly they want this game to be successful, which it likely deserves of course.

I think QB will comfortably sell more units over all, but the PC version might cut into sales of the X1 version quite a bit

still even the X1 version alone should outdo the Order in sales

Not even sure why 1886 is being compared to QB in terms of scores.
63 is a pretty big difference between 78.
They're practically not even in the same league.
