What is this minor change in character you speak of?

I won't speak in detail, having read the movie novelization and knowing how the game's got a frame story, but Qwark doesn't seem nearly as malicious in the film's plot as the game's. It's almost as if the game is meant to tie very slightly back into GC and the film would jump right past the plot of GC and go right into the next major plot.

Thank you for the info!

Glad to see this game getting great reviews, the only sad part is that i cant get it right now... too many games i want coming out this year so i gotta save that money for the ones i want the most :/

Soo the one question i have that a few reviews won't answer. Is What exactly is new about this game other than the graphics?
Tried googling but it just comes up with graphic comparisons.....

Still a week and a half away here. I would have liked to get a disc copy but it's 45 euro in Gamestop and 35 euro on PSN.... simple choice!

The game isn't meant to be "new" per se. It's a remake of the first game (spot for spot at times) with the mechanics of the newer games. The first game is much different in gameplay so new players can just do this one instead now, and then move onto GC and onward to play the series without a big jump in gameplay style.

There are a handful of new weapons as well, and I believe three officially "new" levels that haven't existed in the previous canon before.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Basically all the weapons are different, some levels are laid out differently, some levels are completely new, the gameplay is brought up to todays standards, the story has been altered, it has new gadgets, it ahs sections where you fly in your ship and fight airbattles, etc.

Tons of new stuff from the original. Assuming you mean what's new compared to the original.

Really? Like every review has said that story elements have changed, the gameplay is taken from the modern R&C games, and overall the game has been totally remade using nothing from the origional.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
