Sony owns Naughty Dog and owns the Uncharted IP.
the thing is, what developer could go on and make another uncharted with the same quality? i think sony wouldnt want to ruin the brands reputation, so finding an awesome developer to make the game could prove to be a tasking job, and i hope that prevents sony from actually making an Uncharted 5

Maybe a new studio with hungry young talent under the supervision of Naughty Dog could do it, but they'd have to be super passionate.
I hope Sony doesn't want to ruin the brands reputation, I fear their will to make money might cloud their judgement. :-/
