Forums - Politics Discussion - German mom has multicultural encounter with son's muslim 'friends'

There are several million Muslims in Europe. Which is no shocker because they are like 1/3 of the world's population.

Are we going to have a thread every time a few of them get into trouble? You get a group of any amount of people that large and there will be some troublemakers.

Kids beat up other kids all the time at school. Yes it's not a positive thing but it happens with every freaking nationality on a daily basis, why must every one of these that involves a refugee be thread worthy?

I'm not saying a better immigration policy isn't needed (so are better policies towards integration), but this is really getting tired, are we going to have threads when 1/10000000 refugees spits on the street too? How about one of them who litters?

Do you have a problem with free speech?

Aristotle never said that. It's a fake quote invented by neo-nazis.

100% legit, found it on Buzzfeed

Just saying, cos it's on the internet somewhere doesn't make it true.

Reading some of the comments here, I don't know when VGChartz became a haven for anti-refugee sentiment and xenophobia.

bla bla bla ''foreigners are evil'' bla bla bla ''our GLORIOUS white population suffers under muslims'' bla bla bla ''random xenophobic bullshit'' bla bla bla

Pretty much every muslims I've met in the last months seemed way more intelligent, tolerant and less xenophobic than most people in this thread. I don't care if I get moderated for this post.

I couldn't agree more.

The real problem with asylant in general(not just muslim ones) is that they do not try to adapt to the life of the country they go to, but think that everyone should respect their way of doing things, their vision of the world. Its a complicated matter.

This whole situation, with the recent terrorists atacks, will just get worse and worse unfortunely.

It's different for everyone. Some do want to adapt and others don't. The problem is you only hear about the one's that don't cause who wants to read a story about a muslum doing everything he should be doing?

Einstein, that man had wisdom decades ago, that is now holding true today.  What a brilliant man.

My favorite quote though is this one by Da Vinci - "Please like my status to feed the starving children of Africa. 1 like = 3 meals, 1 comment = 5 meals + 1 back rub, 1 share = 9 meals + 9 meals to share with your 3 friends."

Truly inspiring stuff.

Reminds me of that old Bible parable of Jesus with the Likes and the Fishes!

Unfortunaly the ones that does the things wrong are the loudest. And even if only 10% of them are the trouble makers, its still a high percentage.Couple that with the recent terrorisms atacks and unfortunaly the ones that most likely will happen in the future and its recipe for social disaster.People need scapegoats, needs someone to blame. And I cant blame them, since I can totally understand them.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Yep it's a shitty situation. It's like a conversation I was having with my cousin recently about feminisim. She kept telling me how feminist just want equal rights and don't want more power then men. So I posted link after link of women wanting unequal power. LIke if two people get drunk and have sex the man is a rapist even though the women was drunk too. She then countered with those women aren't feminist which I then showed her link of tons of womens agreeing and calling themselves feminist. They essentually hijacked the word and have become the loudest voice in the feminist movement while people like my cousin aren't very vocal about it.
